Felucca Living

I just spent the last two days coasting down the nile on a traditional Felucca sailboat. It was unbelievably awesome. I maintain that Egypt is a pretty sweet country. So far, I've been proposed to 3 times. Apparently, I'm worth 1 million camels! That's pretty expensive! I don't know what I'd do with a million camels though... plus, I'm pretty sure my would-be fiance didn't actually have that many camels to offer in the first place. Still, I'm pretty proud of that since another girl on the trip only got offered 6 and a half camels.

I'm in Luxor right now. I'm going to be in Israel on the 16th! I am massively excited to see my mommy!

You're worth a trillion camels, Jennifer. You may recall that you (and your parents) were going to spend your 21st birthday at the Luxor -- in Vegas. I think you chose a better version of Luxor. I'm excited for you and Nancy that you will have a week together in Israel.

Jenn,
I sailed on a Felucca, too. It doesn't get any better than that - does it! I remember how refreshing it felt to be on a fast sailing vessel on the Nile River in Egypt. wow. I am glad you were able to experience this.
